Hailing from Indiana, we moved to Missouri in 2018. I knew coming here, I wanted to start my own cafe. A long time ago, I recognized the effect businesses have on the environment and the influence they have on their customers. I wanted to make sure the business we started impacted our customers and set an example for other businesses to consider their responsibility towards the planet while also doing something I truly love. 

In spring 2019, we started working at farmers markets under the name ELM Market, selling whole bean and brewed coffee as well as promoting and building customer relationships. Creating and roasting out of a popcorn popper from the kitchen of my homestead, I've slowly learned and experimented with different bean origins and roasting temperatures, to make products people enjoy and want to support with a positive impact. I hope our Eco-friendly cafe will push other businesses and customers to be more conscious of their purchases and the effects they have on the earth.
